Case Summary
Anayza is a young 11 month old girl born with a heart defect called Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF). As a result, blood circulating to her body is not able to provide adequate oxygen to vital organs like her brain and heart- a condition very dangerous especially at her young age.
Her family wants her to undergo the surgery needed to repair her heart, however her father supporting a family of 5 ( 2 siblings and mother) has been out of job for the past 2 years and is unable to bear the cost of the surgery on his own. DFY-USA has decided to support the family to allow Anayza undergo the surgery for a healthy future!
We can minimize any permanent effect on her growth and development by getting this surgery done as soon as possible. Hence she got admitted in the hospital on 1/3/17 and is due for surgery soon.
