Case Summary

Arshad Raza is a 6 year old boy who has a PDA, commonly known as a hole in a heart that leads to abnormal blood flow between the two main arteries of the heart. Because of this issue the blood doesn’t get the required oxygen from lung and if left untreated it can severely impact a child’s life as much so that child is not able to carry out any physical activity and may also lead be fatal.

Arshad now requires stent that will help close this hole, allowing the blood circulation to become more normal and allow Arshad to live a life closer to normal. However while the cost of stents and procedure is Rs 70,000, his Dad who does tuition can only afford 10,000. Hence Rs 60,000 are still need for this child to get a treatment.
