Ishant is a 8 year old boy who has a congential heart disease called PDA (patent ductus arteriosus – It is hole between two major blood vessels leading from the heart). This opening can be closed through a procedure. Ishant’s father is also not doing well and their family cannot afford the entire cost of surgery (RS 70,000). The remaining cost of this equipment was RS 38,000 (USD 580).
