Case Summary

Baby Sagar is a 18 months baby boy suffering from TOF (Tetralogy of Fallot) that is most common cause of blue babies due to body not getting adequate supply of oxygenated blood. If untreated, these children don’t surive for a very long time. DFYUSA is committed to get children like Sagar in getting a better life by getting them through a treatment, which they otherwise would not be able to afford.

Baby Sagar’s family is quite poor. His dad earns a mere 10,000 ($150) a month on which the family of 5 survives.

Cost of treatment for Baby Sagar will be Rs. 1Lakhs ($1500), out of which family will try to contribute Rs 50,000 or about $750. The treatment will take place in Medanta Hospital at the subsidized cost listed above.
