Varsha is a 6 year old girl required surgery to repair Arterial Septal Defect (ASD). An atrial septal defect is a hole in the wall between the 2 upper chambers (right and left atriums) of the heart.
The surgery was performed at G.B Panth Hospital & costed Rs 70,000 ($1,055).Her father works at a clothes shop in Delhi and earns a monthly salary of Rs7000 ($105). They covered Rs10,000 of the cost needed Rs 60,000 ($905)
